Service Week

Going door to door at hotels on Colfax where Mean Streets has built relationships. We will be praying for people and handing out snacks.

Monday, June 5
4:00pm-7:30pm

Each evening venture out from the church, walking while praying over the neighborhoods and one evening at Southland shopping center.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
6:00pm-7:00pm

Meet at your neighborhood's High School of your choice (Grandview, Cherokee Trail, Eaglecrest). We'll pick up trash and move to the Middle and Elementary schools if time permits.

Help cook a meal and serve breakfast at a center that provides a safe haven for over 100 “street kids” per day in downtown Denver.

Thursday, June 8
5:00pm-8:00pm

Provides a "family of support" to homeless youth who have aged out of foster care and other at-risk young people lacking guidance as they transition to adulthood. We'll be volunteering at their new location.

Saturday, June 10
9am-12pm

Help cook and serve the meals for this woman's shelter facility. We also need hairdressers to give the ladies a free haircut as well.

Sunday, June 11
4:00pm-7:00pm

We need groceries items for our food bank such as cereal, peanut butter, jelly, pasta, canned pasta sauce, soup, canned meals (like ravioli or spaghetti o's), small bags or boxes of rice, and mac and cheese. You can drop them off during the week or on Sunday, June 11th.

Sunday, June 11
8am-12pm

Not able to come to our campus? Write a thank you card or bring goodies to your local police or fire departments. Serve at a homeless shelter or nursing home. Do something nice for your neighbor! Tag your picture or story to @foraurora_ and use the hashtag #foraurora2023
